Associates Council – Associate members organize and execute events to help finance activities of the Council and the Home Builders Association of Saginaw.

Christmas Party – Organize and implement plans for association Christmas Party.

Education/Library – Develop and facilitate education programs for both Builder and Associate Members. Oversee Library housed in HBAS office.

Golf Outing – Plan and coordinate golf tournament for HBAS membership.

Home & Lifestyle Show – Provide an annual showcase for products and services related to the home building industry, educate the consumer and promote the HBAS. Subcommittees include taping, move-in, set-up, tear down, move-out, ticket sales, seminars, name badges, booth judging, budget, advertising, and signs.

In-Keepers – Assist in the retention of current membership and recruitment of prospective members.

Legislative – Monitor local legislative and regulatory activities relating to the HBAS, support state and national legislative activities. Keep membership informed. Maintain personal contact with government officials.

Member Expo – Provide a forum for member to member exchange of information about products and services through booth displays. This event is held in place of the September General Membership Meeting.

Nominating – Provide a slate of directors, qualify board of director candidates and provide association membership with profile of each candidate.

Parade of Homes (Fall & Spring) – Establish program for the promotion of new home sales through a Parade of Homes.

Program – Plan and promote meeting programs for entire year.

Public Relations – Recommend and implement programs to promote and publicize activities, goals, and achievements of the HBAS.

Silent Auction – Plan and coordinate the Silent Auction to benefit the HBAS and community projects.

Technology – Recommend and implement plans to keep association current with technology, oversight of web site and computer systems.
